Here is a quick help guide to using our site, purely4dating. There are two sections to our site. Our dating blog, and our free online dating site.
Our Dating Blog: On our dating blog we bring you interesting stories and articles related to dating, and socialising. Read dating tips, find social events close to you, browse or relationship hints and more. Do you have a dating site, or social event you want to share? Register on our blog, and submit them. We welcome anything dating or social related. This is a free service.
1. Register on our dating blog here.
2. A password will be emailed to you. Remember to check your junk folder if you the email hasn't turned up within 10 minutes or so.
3. Once you receive this password, go to our blog, and login.
4. We highly recommend you changing your password to something you will remember.
5. You are now ready to start submitting your articles, by the Submit Article link, found at the top of our blog.
Our Free Dating Site: Purely4dating offers members the opportunity to meet new people as friends, dates, one night stands, or life long partners. This is a free service. The reason we can offer this as a free service, is we don't offer all the unecessary bells and whistles of other dating sites. We offer a simple to use dating site with all the tools necessary to meet new people. Visitors and Members clicking on adverts help us to keep our free dating site running. Remember, it is free to register, free to contact people, free to use all sections of our site.

2. Read the 'Registration Agreement Terms' on the above page. Click 'I agree to these terms' or 'I do not agree to these terms'
3. Fill in your basic details. (Your email address will not be visible to other members. Your privacy is very important to us.)
4. Press 'Submit'
5. You are now registered on our site.
6. Login in with your username and password.
7. Click on 'Create Profile' and fill in your details.
8. You are now ready to start meeting people. Search by category, or view the latest profiles list, or use advanced search.
Other Features of our Dating Site:
Hot List. At the bottom of each profile, you can click on 'Save Member to Hot List'. If you are interested in the members profile, you can add them to your hot list of easy access to their profile in the future. You can access your Hot List from your 'My Account' menu on the top left hand column. From here, you can also edit your Hot List.
Private Picture Gallery: Every member has access to a private image gallery. You can upload up to 10 pictures. Maximum image size allowed is 500x500 pixels. These pictures are not viewable by other members, unless you grant them access. To grant them access, add the member to your Hot List. Click on My Hot List in the My Account area on the top left column. Select the user you want to allow access to your private gallery, by ticking the box in front of their details, then click Allow Gallery. You can turn the gallery viewing on and off for each member as you like.
Add Member Notes: You will find this at the bottom of members profiles. This allows you to add a note, only viewable by you, about this member. For example, the member might give you their phone number, or msn address, so you can add it there. Or you might add details about an arranged date, or your experience with this member. You can access and edit your Member Notes from your 'My Account' menu at the top of the left hand column.
Report Member: You will find this at the bottom of members profiles. If you are being harassed, or the member is acting inappropriately or uploading illegal pictures etc, you can report them to us. We will investigate, and take appropriate action.
Contact Member: You will find this at the top of members profiles. This allows you to send an email message to the member. Make sure you put your correct email address in the email field, because this is how the member will reply, if they are interested. We do not show users email addresses on our site, to protect privacy. We leave it up to individual members to decide on who to contact, and who to communicate with. We do not have a 'winks' feature as some other sites. We find this is time consuming for members, and mostly a waste of time, preferring a direct line of communication.
Edit My Account: You will find this in the 'My Account' section in the top of the left hand column. This will allow you to edit your registration details, like your real name, password, language and email address. You can also add a link to your website or a favourite site.
View My Profile: Some people choose to have more than one profile. This is ok, but you must register a new account for each profile. While logged in, you can view and edit your profile by clicking on 'View My Profile' found in the 'My Account' section in the top of the left hand column. Once clicked, the page will reload, and in the middle section of our site, you will see your profile title and a short description. Under this, in red, you will see two links. One says, 'View Profile' Pressing this will allow you to view your profile. Alternately, pressing 'Edit My Profile' (found beside 'View Profile) will allow you to edit your profile. Make any changes neccessary, fill in the spam protection code, and tick if you agree to our submission rules, then press 'Continue'. Your profile changes will be submitted for review
